I am just writing to say how much we enjoyed the performance of Footloose on Saturday. Everything about it was really professional - the dancing, singing, acting, sound and light - what a lot of young talent you have! It was also great to be aware of the orchestras presence (so often taken for granted).

Hi there, I was in Scamps and appeared in West Side Story, Crazy For You and Copacabana. I've continued to perform in amateur theatre in First Stage Theatre Company, Salford Musical Theatre Company, The East Cheshire Musical Theatre Company, Alderley and Wilmslow Amateur Operatic Society and The Wilmslow Green Room Society. I would not have these groups, experiences and friends if it weren't for Scamps taking me on at the tender age of 14. SCAMPS gave me my appetite for theatre, and really made me who I am. SCAMPS Youth Company is the best! My daughters Leah and Grace both thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Company. I want to pay tribute to the excellent work SCAMPS committe members do as without them there would be no SCAMPS. Special tribute should be paid to Barbara Herd who has relentlessly worked for SCAMPS from its birth to present day - she is an unsung hero.
